Lonesome Weekend

Weekend was just fine. Nothing much. Just feeling weird cause it's just too quiet and it's so not me. As a matter of fact I enjoyed my movie with my Darlings on Friday night. We watch Night at the Museum 2. I still figure that the 1st one was way better in sequence.

I went back to office just to work on Saturday. I guess I need to kill time or else it's just too quiet being alone at the four corners. Went for a jog at my office premises. Met Kelly for dinner. We had a good catch up at Breeks Cafe. We had Cajun Blackened Fish and I felt so down that I ordered an ice cream to make myself happy.

Just as I type this, I am thinking of home. Ahh..'Homesick' again. I'm going back home next week. Heehe. Can't wait though. Glad to know Andrew arrived at Calgary about an hour ago which is 11.30pm our local time after 36 hours of journey. Haaah..I bet his bum-bum must have explode after such a long ride. Just spoken to him on the phone. Looks like he's enjoying himself well.

Once in a life time so can't bargain or give a damn on this. I only want to go to Anfield for my Honeymoon in mere future. Time to bed, my hair has dried finally.

Today I feel so lonely. Don't know why it came upon a midnight clear on me suddenly. Weird. I stayed up to 9.40pm for work. Earlier than what I expected before. Nothing much happen. Tuesday, Officially begins my lone-ranger days! Waahaha. Nope, not that I am not strong. I am pretty cool about it. He will be back in June and time will fly pretty fast. I am kind of caught up with work lately. Can it be my Client is too demanding or just that I am over work.

I could not believe I spend 14 hours at work today and I left the office at 10.30pm. Anyways work has always been my priority because I believe there's a 'sense' of perfectionist in me. Haaha. Talk about Perfectionist versus Professionalism. Double the dose.

On the happier note I did my running today completed 5km from Raffles to Flyer with Jes. That's good! Yup! Yup! I've been running for weeks and months and am looking forward for all the up coming Marathon for year 2009!

I've never been this creative in life. Heck! Life is short, live life cool and live it full. I have so many challenges this year apart from my passion for activities that I've love I also have to dealt with my parents decision to move over to Nz for good. So tell me where do I stand. I only have like 4 more months neck to neck with Mum and Dad. It's really a tough and mind breaking I tell ya! Honestly, this is scary and I do not know how to response? God how-la?

I am addicted to running recently. I've been running for the past months but not as frequent as recent weeks. Been running like every single weekdays and now WEEKENDS too! WAaa..is this good or bad? At the same time, been training taking dumb bells to train both my abs and shoulders :) I seriously think i need a good pair of running shoes. Am contemplating between Nike, Adidas and Puma. Oh, well would definitely go for the light weight ones. I have been seeing a lot of things at every different angle and have come across lots of trouble minded too. Thank goodness times like this one always have a close friend you can count on and I'm glad I shared my troubles with you, Hammy. Keeke..

On the lighter side this month I would be more engaged to running passing my time. Catch up with my High School mates oh..I totally blew the last one of, I forgotten! Am sorry bout it Girls!! I've never knew that I had so much potential to grow in me. I can proudly say "I'm indeed all grown, BIG GIRL now" It feels good to be an example and admired sometimes won't we ;) Have a good weekend everyone where ever you may be! How 2008 End

2008 has thus been the best part of my life. It happens with the highlight of family, love, life, and not forgetting the best part of money making career~! So many things happen in year 08. I can't deny that I am a far better person today compared to years back then. When I completed my degree I was so hunger for work that I immediately jump to any chances for job openings and mind you that was in the state of Pearl of Orient. It didn't come good to my Dad's liking when I suggested that I wanted to venture to the land of Kiasu-ness. More to that what I wanted was firstly, earning in SGD compared to Ringgit Malaysia. You do the math and tell me which is better ;) On the point of career I wanted something that can make me gain while learn work the hard and tough way and be versatile both work and life. Not to forget working in Singapore which also means One step closer to my Dearest Andrew la~Well, this relationship started way when I was still in my final year in uni so can figure how much endurance and salt I've tasted for the distance I've succumb. And then, eventually things get started and the relationship with my parents was even thus better and we've been so close ever since then.

The truth is that in life and work there's so much ups and downs and I've experienced both the bitter sweet symphony. My job pays me good I must say but the catch is if Sales is way better far. And if you have to ask me, am I happy this far? I must tell you, NO! I am not satisfied with what I have not achieved. But on the separate note, I must say that being able to be listed in 'numero tres' for Singapore Top Sales and fourth place regional in one of the particular month has been my happiest moment of my life. Surely feels good to get such achievement. I measure this as it's only been a year in recruitment line oh, well just me with no experience what so ever~Well, I've pulled it thought!

I made friends and colleagues that stay close to my heart and we've grown closer and the companionship amongst us are just wonderful.

On the lighter note, remember how I always crave and have fetish on food especially wantanmee?

There was 1 day in the year of 2008 I manage to have all for meals of wantanmee all pack up. You tell me Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and Supper full filled with WanTanMee. How's that for a record? Haaha.

In July my my brother flew back from Auckland with wife and my cute niece, Charlotte.

As many of you might have known how close I'm knitted with her. Yes, she's adorable all grown up little girl who likes her life in Nz. I have traveled to Phuket, sat on a cruise with the complete family. Been to Krabi and done diving with Andrew, in fact we've travel places together most of the time this is majesty fine.

In December, my best guy friend more to my God brother come back from states!

And eventually I did have a lovely Christmas with Family and friends. I spend RM380.00 on my stupid hair which I grew to love it now because it fucking looks so healthy and fluffy ;)

The exact 2 months that I've been neglecting this blog of mine. I admit that work has taken not partially but most out of 24/7 that I've own. And I must say it's a privilege to be back again. Only that this time around I shall leave endless work load topic way back. It's been STRESSFUL after all. All I can say begging that rosy and a bright light may arise in 2009! That's what I am wishing. But anyways, been watching lots of movies lately in cinema. Been keeping myself occupied with colleagues, friends and classmates outing recently as well. Just recent I've meet up with my high school mates.

Enough said, I wanted to cooked for a very long time. Since I still had the balance ingredient dinner he made me last Thurs, I decided it's time Fina makes full use of her skills to turn into a non effortless handmade dinner for him. 'Prawn Spaghetti'. The only seafood that he takes, Prawn. And so I made a decent dinner for him today. As much as I tasted, it I felt it's alright for me. Well, if you want to know more, free to ask the Man himself!

It's Sunday. And so, how do I spend this precious off day? With Dearest Andrew! Nice and sweet. Not always we can see each other and spend quality time as work is the barrier between us. Got up pretty early this morning. We attended mass and heed down to Joo Chiat Road for lunch. Initially, it was supposed to be some adventure searching for Hajah Maimunah's Nasi Padang. After much talk and anticipation I decided it's time we should try something different hence we should go with it. But disappointed as it is the restaurant was close since Raya. In the end we end up at Wheelock Place, Orchard. It's been twice in a row since I was at Orchard as well yesterday. We settle for something which apparently I think it's health; Cedele.

Very well said, 'Eat well, be well'. Andrew had chicken mayo sandwich while I had cloud 9.

It's been 10months, 10days

Two more months and it's end of year 2008. Vividly I still remember during Uni days, how I wish I would live the life I have always wanted to be. My aim, complete my decent education and earn a living on my own. This ego of mine, wanted so much to live and earn my very first pay cheque. My most substantial reason; re-pay my parents contribution and upbringing me all these while. The very fact I knew that the relationship that I had with my parents are so strong and deep inside, it's my Dad that he can't let go of me till this very day. Sometimes, there's many memories and many wonders that come across of me. During Uni there's always friends, and now in the corporate whole, most of my time are taken by my nature of work. I got to be honest, I LOVE my job. But at the same time, it's also the market that would determine my 'rice bowl'. At this point, economic is not really in a good tumour. Been alert that recession is hitting and definitely we can see the impact by now. Within 10 months; in my corporate world, the naive once I was an adult I can bravely proclaim. I have confidence when I speak. And I can make my own judgement and decisions using the knowledge, experience and mistake I've learn. Just when I heard acquaintance and friends complaining how incompatible their work and nature has been well, deep inside I can smile and say 'Hey, Fina thank the Lord you have a good day and you brace it through!'. For the past months, I knew I had been working hard and I meant my effort not wasted. 2008 has been the highlight of my Career, Family, Love and Life. You know, up to this day, there's still one thing that I never fail to miss. My Dad. And deep inside I knew that he misses me much even though he knows that I am safe in Andrew's arms. Cause I am Dad's big baby ;] It wasn't easy when I first told him that I wanted to earn my first decent pay cheque in Singapore. The fact I knew he would be worried on my accommodations/travel/ society and environment. I have to say that I owe my partner, Andrew a big time for going through trials and tribulations in those very depress and hard times. It's also the Bonus 'Q' when the time comes, and so if Andrew has made up his mind to Calgary, Canada am I ready to follow. I have no doubts. But I am not certain. As much as I want us to build a future it's also something I need to know where do I see myself in 5 years from now. Will I be coaching or manage something I want to do in life. One things for sure, I am happy with what God has bless me with. His presence by my side!

Went for shopping at Jusco, Aeon Tebrau City. It's also good to have a change away from the city of Singapore ( Cause it's been a while since we last hang out and also it's BORING in Singapore) Well, how much can you shop in Singapore. And so, we thought that for a change we shall have some time by ourselves away from hectic, work, and also swamps of people. We catch a movie at TGV. Not much of choices as we had already watch 'You don't mess with the Zohans' and 'Meet Dave'. Finally we settled for

'Wall-E'.

This Disney 3-D animation would be best described as the movie for the Dumbs. There's not much of vocab here. Wall-E which stands for Waste Allocation Load Lifter Earth-Class is adorable in its character. The HMS:Senior Year will be out this 23 Oct!!! I AM NOT GOING TO MISS THIS!

They used to sell for hair saloon and previously i got them from Watsons. Goodness, damn freaking expensive. I had it for 150 ml at RM 25. Now it's a new repackaging at RM35 for FUCKING 50ml. This is massive change!

Charlotte & Ku Cheh

It's been 5 days past. Charlotte has left Auckland for good.
It's also means back to work for me as usual. Well, Charlotte's presence has been the best gift that has happen to my family as well as myself. I do miss her much and love her lots. Now i wonder when will our family be reunite or perhaps i should arise when will i be heading to New Zealand. I do hope soon. It's been a whole long month since i has a great time traveling visiting places with my family, hence now FULL FORCE back to work. It's such a pain after such a long break. Endurable one. I still have something i wan to accomplish in life. Something very much I want to embark in my career. Something no body knows. Haaaha, just me myself and I. Times sure passes fast. I am officially back since M-I-A beribu-ribu abad. Work has been good but, so there's a BUT to pause which says in a long term move this practice will make my spirit die. Sometimes, i felt that i am married to my work already. There goes, and i figure what if at this age i should work super duper hard so I can retiree with a bang 15 years from now. By that time i could have enough time to cater my all to family, husband and kids! Talk about family planning, which is so not me. Fine, i am really tired with work but sometimes fun facing these tribulations in life. It's just that in long run, it's going to be so dead boring. I like meeting people. I observe, i learn i reckon the steps in life i could consult and give in the career and path that i have choose. I might not be perfectly right but I take chances. A change would do you good! This is society. This is life. Chances happens only once therefore grab every opportunity that seize. After a hard and long day work you just feel that in need for a good pampering mouthful of words. Perhaps a good bowl of wantanmee would do me good. Ohh please it's FINA. I am blessed. Truly gratefully with the people i have met along the line. Be it in work or in society circles, i look up; adored and can't be thankful enough knowing how blessed am I to have knowledge and shared experience from others knowing i am way far better. My family has reunite finally with the other missing sheep's from Nzealanders. Now, it's going to be tough when the sheep's returns back to Nz in 3 weeks time. Fcuk* I am looking forward for my vacation next week to Phuket! :D

I was born and breed in Malaysia. I do love my country, Malaysia. When i think of our culture, i am proud. I am amaze how unique and different each of our individual culture has bring harmonious and excellent unity. But this is back then. Now, looking at the rulings and the whole scenario from day one to now. It just makes one to leave this country. Everything is going up solely. And this happens within a twist of faith. There must be a change in our country. Either our country is a democracy or not it really needs a proper revamp once and for all. It's ridiculous for the impose of RM2.70 per liter when it was only at RM 1.92 back then. How dare, these idiots can say we are still enjoying the subsidy at a cheaper rate of 0.30 cents compare to the retail price at RM3.00 per liter. Well, if this is the case, might as well save up the 0.30 cents that they are giving. A price hike of .78 cents per liter really makes much of a difference. Or I should say, literally it doesn't affect much on those who re not earning in Malaysia? Wrong you! Even though the increase doesn't affect me directly it does dig a big pole of hole to my pocket for the transportation cost i bare. I believe that mos of the transport has take immediate action on the increase of public transportation. A big jump at .78 cents is totally crazy. Malaysia is a country with resources when it comes to petroleum. No doubt it's a heavy burden as we need to export the oil out for refinery thus import it back but this is not the proper channel and way to eat the rakyats fund. What about those family with 4 and more kids above. Have the government put themselves in these peoples shoe considering the fact that they to need a proper budget when everything is increasing but salary is still being paid at the same. With the hike of petrol, food and consumer usage and there's more to come. Our government is just killing the rakyats. We pay taxes alright. It's just a pain in the ass looking at the current situation. No wries, crime rates will increase looking at how they are curbing the rakyats need. Most of the government minister are being subsides it doesn't make a pain for them. We are suffering. First there's corruption now..this is getting worst. Let's just see how the future holds. Well done, PAK LAH!!!

Never in my life, I had the mouthful of crab that I shall not eat for at least the next 6 month! Had a lovely crab feast with my colleagues and Manager as well. There were 8 of us and 3 males which includes Andrew. Aiya..the guys 'lauya' la. Non seafood eaters. We stuff ourselves with lots of food.

Work as usual busy with lots of job events going on. Went to IMM this past few days as BF wants to get a printer. In the end we settle for a Canon Pixma MP145 which was affordable today. Had dinner at Pepper Lunch with Andrew. He recommended that this affordable DIY fast food steakhouse originated from Japan which serves their meal in iron pan. The portion is alright and to be honest I find the combinations are quite healthy in term of the dishes and main meals like salmon fish. Also, I got my self a pair of Amber boot cut pants and working skirt from G2000. The sales are on going and it's a good bargain. I am tires. Death sleepy. Ta!ta!

It's a long sickening week as days goes by. My BF is sick and now I am joining the team too! WTF! I'm leaving to 'Char Kuih Tiaw' Island, so penangites here I COME! It's only a short trip but I figure this would made my trip a nice one. And not forgetting BF's coming along. * smiles*

Now how often you get to spend and enjoy the quality time with your love ones. Yea, I can't wait to see my nephew and niece. And food, food, food and more food. Work has been good so far. guess it's the demand or the market is good these days but I realised down the road recession is hitting the world very soon. Yup, here in Singapore feeling it. Now it's still not that bad but down the road, it's unexpected so got to make full use of each single dollar.

I'm still hopping and washing my eyes on that 'G' bag. And I had crave for small dogs but I can't keep it here and back in Mcca, my dad said our compound doesn't seem suitable. No place for Doggy to run-worrrr. How, sad is that. Now, BF..we got to get a house for Doggy to run! Ha..ha! ha! In Canada-LA!Got to go, training awaits tomorrow! I miss BF. He's miles away now-

I had a good rest over the weekend. How i spend the weekend was something very worth wise. There was good food involvement, self pampering session, makeup make over and leisure on movies. Andrew had a make over on his head.

While Aj did his make over I had mine manicure done as well!The nail salon was called 'Nail Seduction' and indeed it has thus seduce my likeness towards their service and consultation. I tell you, being so particular and fussy, I have to admit it, ' I likely this manicure so much!'. Their service was good and price are very reasonable also.
Things like this doesn't occur much in life well at least I've got to pamper myself once in a blue moon what! So, it's occasional times like these :) you just got to let it all out and live the life you never thought you could! We had nice and decent lunch. As you can see, happy people meets 'POTATO'. We call it, 'BE-HU' direct translation, can not wait!

LAMB

Yesterday was 1st of April which also coincides with April Fool's Day. To add on the twist, April Fool was also the day we celebrated our Anniversary! :D. I had an exquisite dinner with BF at Manhattan Fish after work. Food was good. The portion was appropriate and nice for the two of us. Today, I awfully commit yet another sin. I know that I have initially make a vow that I shall say 'NO' to shoes. It's just to bad my colleague was telling that there was a very good bargain in the shoes boutique near my working place. And so after lunch she brought myself and Jenny to so called 'see-see' la. Yea the 'see-see' eventually turn to 'BUY-BUY'. But to be honest it was really on a good bargain for 40%. I purchase a pair of pumps. Bottom point is that I love it so much. And to ease my direful pain I actually console that I would give this pair of pumps to my mum! There goes, Mummy you are so LUCKY! Haaha, what a lousy trick. But I feel better using such trick. Okay, no harm what. But seriously the shoes are really at a good bargain in regards of the $. Jenny bought a pair of wedges. She claims that height is the major factor. Lol. It's Sunday. Just got back from mass and had my lunch. Been pretty hectic over the past weekends as I have been going back so frequent. Let's jut say 3/4weekends I've been going back therefore today's my 1st weekend spend here. What have I been up too? Honestly, nothing much or impressive to talk about rather, relax myself and clear up chores. Oh I love hygiene. It's a pretty clean country here. And yes I must say a very Porky country too! Pardon me, all these years of growing and living up, I've never experienced a Porky country until I landed here! I must say, I am a fanatic Pork! Penang itself is a very Chinese based state but the fact that in Merlion, getting pork in supermarket seem to be a very big deal for me because they don't need to hide Porky in a very deserted area ma! Yesterday, after QT I went to Orchard with my soh hai colleague, Li Jun. I wanted go Takashimaya to get some stuff. As we were walking I saw a poster that caught my attention. At this point I admit I am curious and 'su-ah-ku' but can't blame in Malaysia, such education were not educate or publishes publicly. Of course, I jump not for joy but amaze seeing such. Holidays are over. I believe most of us have already gone back for work since Monday. Myself, very reluctantly getting up at 7am thinking, oh my what a routine again. Anyways, work as usually been over loaded. Job orders pouring like mountains high. Today, over at my working place, the company hired a troop of Lion Dance or better known as 'Lang Sai' over to perform. As usual, Chinese custom moreover they believe it's a good start to kick business and also for prosperous. The weird part, having the loud noisy Lang Sai's playing over at 55th floor. Physco! The troop of performers here are very different compare to to one I've seen in M'sia.

This Chinese new year also coincides with my zodiac year. Rat-ta-tou-i. No wonder I feel so lucky! YAY!!

Before Chinese New Year, I've encounter something new. Traditional Threading for Eyebrow. All thanks to Andrew! The process is so damn awful. Pain like hell but it's neatly done. I like it but then again I can't tolerate the pain. Not use to it.

Thursday will be Valentines Day. So no big deal right? Figure the florist, retail outlets, goldsmith are earning easy peachy business. They are even promoting The V's on train station. Is V's Day over populated here?

Over the weekend, I managed to get away from the city. At least for once. As most of my friends would have know or perhaps notice, I had a big change say last 2months ago. I gave a different feel towards my top assets. Aha, my hair laaaa. I gave angled hair style a shot. Others might give it a bang but I would love to try something different. Well, at least a change wont do any harm rather than the same cutting all over again for the past 23 years. And so as the brand NY ushers in, I had a new me, new cut, things were so brand new. Even though at times, I miss my long horsey hair, I convinced myself a change would do me no harm nonetheless it's so not used seeing myself in short angled back in the mirror. Anyhow, I would love to have my hair grow a.s.a.p. There's a dirty little mischievous of me to create some ~~innocent~~ awkwardness in. I discover something about Birkenstock. These scandals are really damn baldy comfy. The pinch? It's pretty pricey tho. The good thing is that I had reviews the material are solid and flexible, durable, lightweight, shock resisting soling material. Isn't this sounds convincing enough to get one?

This is crazy. I got up from bed at 1pm. This doesn't sound like me either. I slept dead for 13 hours. The whether has made my turn of mood goes mellow. I did practically nothing today but face the laptop screen browsing, surfing, checking articles, reading mails, enquirer some stuffs and watch 'The Game Plan' acted by Dwayne Johnson @ The Rock.

The movie is funny yet touching. It's more of a comedy, family and sport genre. One of the lead actress, Madison Pettis she's talented to land herself a role in this movie. Seriously, the movie is good. Nothing to lose watching it. It revolve Joe Kingman (the Rock) is a famous quarterback who, as a bachelor, likes to work hard and play hard. But his party-hearty lifestyle is upended when the 7-year-old daughter (Madison Pettis) he never knew he had shows up on his doorstep. Suddenly, all the ladies in his life, including his intense agent (Kyra Sedgwick), have to take a backseat to the little woman. That's a bit bout it. I attend mass at 5.30 right after that I went for a jog. Without realising I actually jog till Commonwealth West Ave. This is so not me! I am so tired, worn out. Had a cup of milo, pineapple tarts and potatoes chips for dinner. Aiya, got to go. My lamb just call. Meeting him to catch the match between Liverpool & Luton for FA cup. I bet my Dad is watching now and so is brother in Nz & Png. I miss home. Miss mum& dad. Worst still I miss wantanmee very much. *geramnya*. Anyways, I discover this...

I think i must stay far away far from any malls or shopping centers. Which I reckon all the arcade or malls must prohibit me from entering. My fetish craves over heels are just so overwhelm. Believe me when I said that or is this a norm thing any girl would do? I had my x-ray done at one of the shopping malls in Jurong East. Of all the places why was the medical located INSIDE a shopping mall? It only takes about 10-15mins for x-ray scans. Balance of the time? Eye watching, strolling over at the shopping mall. Okay, this is it. When ever one gets a good bargain I mean really good how not to resist it? That's the issue I am talking about. How not to say 'NO' and so I own it.

That explains a lot.

Was feeling bored so out of my curiosity I took a jog from Clementi until Dover train station. Guess what I still survived. Not flatten yet. Good on me :D. I hope to continue this for a long time. I have no specific resolution and I don't need to make one ONLY when New Year arrives. I just hope things goes smoothly and work in places. I miss the food I use to whack like crazy. Tell me who can it be if it's not Wantanmee? I know I am totally insane. I missed home and acquittance. Didn't get to meet any of my clicks during Christmas. Guess everybody is busy with their love, and glamorous life kuaaaa. Or perhaps sometimes it's just time management. Merry Christmas! This year’s is extremely different. It’s unusual because again I am spending Christmas with my parents and the other siblings are not here. All are not back as geographic barrier and miles, miles away. Disappointed, sad, depressed, and gloom but at least this year we have an extra member to the family. My LAMB! This has been the best Christmas thus far. Been able to meet friends, catch up with relatives, anonymous, and spend quality time with parents, Wantanmee and Andrew. It’s so wonderful! And rightful! Everything that I’ve never thought I could have asked for falls in pieces and I am so blessed! Theoretically, I’ve learn something about Christmas, you just got to eat and eat and eat and eat. I won't be able to feel dreadful again as I shall bid farewell to Pearl Orient as a new mission awaits me in no time. It's funny when colleagues tells you they miss you and the presence. It's touching well, life's got to move for a better rite? And when you find the ray of light don't you got to grab the opportunity that's been laid right at you? The big Q is that if I don't make a step hence 2, 3, and 4 shall not move forward. It's time I find a new nest to hibernate. *Big Laughs*. It's also the time when Fina gets super extremely excited to re-united with love ones especially my other half. It's been a horrible and long winded road till this far. I should be compensate for a change and a real good change. Wa laa..Officially I am on a long leave as from today until further notice! Got to enjoy every single bit. I am really tired. Desperate for a runaway or perhaps backpacking would do me good. Am really missing every part of 2007. I never believed until it happened on my own. Karma. Be it time, period. It really does exists. What goes around, comes around. So glad something wonderful and good happens today. It might be small to others, but to me it's extra meaningful especially at this kind of time, end of the year. Ever since I got back I have this sputdi thinking that 's annoying. The thought of being alone for some long time makes me indescribable. Sometimes so tired of being alone. Yups, I bare and know that I am not alone on this, but it's just the feeling and the thoughts that haunts so badly. I can't continued like this forever. However ones strong ability might just collapsed one day. I cringe my fist tightly with the hope that I would go this at one pace only to remind myself the balance of days I still have where I step my foot from the very first day before I would re-unite with him. I do wonder sometimes how people would survived their courtships yet managing personal issues time after time. It surely doesn't sound wonders to me. Be it how many years of being together if it's going to tear apart it will surely do unless the amendments takes place. Courage and strength definitely plays the essential weapon I have still, I kept my head up high cruising through the remaining days before I bid silently. It's still pinning when one of those nights would just make you stay awake and eyes not shut thinking bout it. Guess I should just shut and leave has it is. Finally after 1 week of being away from pork finally I've got it all in my tummy at last. Just got back from LIMA. It was a good experienced. Met lots of influenced people from all walks of life internationally. Even though the work is tiring but definitely an experience! Imagine getting up as early as 7morning and leaving work place as late as 7evening. I am not going back to Langkawi for at least 2 to 3 years from now. It's freaking bored! Well, if your a drinker or a smoker Langkawi is definitely a place where one should go to. Smoke as much as you want. Drink as much as you like because it's freaking cheap. Say a can of beer cost RM 1.60. How's that? The first thing I did when I got back was 'HUNT FOR PORK'. It has been playing in my mind for more than a week. Worst still the food sucks terribly. The best being here is that the beaches are great and so relax. It's a good place for holiday and reflection.

Unless both my sisters in law decide to drop yet another bomb then I would have as many collection of nephew(s) and niece(s) to come. But up to the current date it's already not bad for collectives address called 'Aunty..fina' or 'Ku Cheh' (Cantonese). I realize both of my nieces have my clan gens generation. In life this is reality. Reality bites the dust. I’ve come to the stage where I’ve face the many different scenarios in life. Be it happy, or sad I have fall for both either. Happiness makes you stronger sadness makes your life meaningless just like you’re waiting for the day to get over but it seem long like you’ve been waiting for centuries. I didn’t conquer. Thus left me hang there dangling wandering like a lost soul. All my life this is it. The time where I believe God has given me a big task or is he testing me out. At times I really feel so lost. I do not know what to do when I know deep within me, there wasn’t any intention to hurt no body. It’s really difficult. I succumb to it. Somehow, it left me just like not the Fina I use to be when I was in high school years or even in Uni days. I flip through my little diary I use to have before I left school. I vividly remember how my schoolmates those who are close with me even if you’re not I knew there was words or messages left in this little booklet before we bid goodbyes. Yes, Fina was famously known for her glorious loud LAUGHTER and noise those younger days. They use to quote me as ‘No Fina no fun, No Fina no joy’. And, I get compliments every year thanking me ‘Hey, Fina keep laughing forever, for without you the class is very very quiet! Thanks for the laughter in the class. . Some said ‘remember: Never stop laughing’. I remember this girl in my class which wrote ‘you really light up our class with laughter so keep on laughing when you see people are gloomy because your laughter will cheer a person up’. I felt as thought I am doing some social charity circus. During my teenage and schooling days, I am a real joker. Very fun, jovial person but I have a very bad character. I’ve never shown any of my doubts or troubles and problems to any of my mates even my close friends are aware of it. That is why they foresee the sad me as Fina is always the happy lucky girl in their eyes. It’s just instilled in me that I would and never show the society how unhappy I am. I am on the verge where I want to break down but manage to control and secure my inner feelings. It’s just skips a bit when ever I think about it. So, when I’ve succumb with trials and tribulations whose there to put a smile on me? My self esteem has died in me. I am so tension that I feel sooner or later my eyes will pop out. Or is it just me skeptical to face the truth? Its true Fergie once sang ‘Big girls don’t cry’ but face the fact, which girls won’t and don’t? My tension has come to the pinnacle where remember my previous post I said I want to do something to it. I finally did it. I don’t mind looking like a lost smurf well at least at the current mood I have half of my stress lift aside. I'd rather be smurf/mushroom better than a CABBAGE!

Recently, we're sadden by the tragic that happened to eight-year-old Nurin Jazlin Jazimin, who has been missing since Aug 22. And so, what feared the worst when they found a body in a bag in Petaling Jaya Utama which was suspected it was Nurin. But then his Dad, was certain that it was not his daughter, judging from the face, skin colour and body. But then after DNA was carried out it was confirm that the body was Nurin. What on earth could a beast do such to placed a cucumber and a brinjal in the girl’s private parts. This is such a deliberate and cruel crime when we look at the circumstances of the case. Honestly, I don't feel safe living in Malaysia anymore when crime rate increase drastically when all we want is to have a peaceful life. As technology are getting more and more advance humans are moving a step higher but what on earth would such morons be thinking in their mind? It's not like how we use to live many years ago. I believe I would fear for the same if my kid are let loose out there even for mere 5minutes. No point when we are a country where by we are ruled out from all nature disaster and they can say 'Malaysia' is a safe country to live. Well, correct me 'No more' laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. The crime rate has been increasing like hot cakes and we still consider Malaysia a safe country? How long do we need to live in fear. It's like a Crime Scene Investigation chronology. When there's a rape case the following headlines for the next month will be rape cases going everywhere. And then, when kids are kidnapped it goes on and on and on. So, the generation of 'WE' are we still considering investing our hard work here? Come la..pack our bags. It's not worth the risk. It's simply taste so good and the cakes are pricey yet products made are very own and unique thus overwhelm by the texture and illustration are so tempting. Now, why does one can't help but to fall for it? Trust me. It's really..really..really DELICIOUS. They even got a 'Promise' of their own to offer customers simply because..

Cool isn't it. Well not many places in Malaysia has an outlet for it there's only 5 up to date. The recent one that adds on to their franchise is in QueensBay, Penang. Honestly I wouldn't how many of 'us' out there would actually pay he price of average $8 plus and above for a slice of cake. Again, I said a slice of cake! 8 bucks is more than a meal one could fork out for but for this it's only a slice of cake. Sometimes in life, I picture it this way. We live to eat and die for it. I mean 'I' personally. Either way, if we didn't eat we still die, we eat we will die too one day so might as well eat it laaar. Furthermore, money can be earn right? It's not like having a $8bucks slice of cake everyday! That would pretty much chokes up.

Paying the price for a good quality when it comes to food is not a matter what matters most are quality rather than quantity. I've got so much to share and so much to spit about what got me star struck over the weekend but my dysfunctional system kind of screw things up and ain't operating so, I'll sum things more a bit/less. Well, pardon me if I got to prolong this, I might be having short term memory soon. Anyways, Harry Potty's book it's out. J.K. Rowling is making tonnes and tonnes of moo-la.

I have to admit my SIL (sis-in-law) got that and I am going to 'try' see I am using the term 'try' picking a habit to read this wizardly book. Ohh, mind you, I didn't even catch or glimpse through the trailer even for the recent one. I didn't gave tuition today so I had a good rest.

Got up early this morning when for breakfast in Sg. Tiram. Damn, this shop got the nicest toast bread I've ever taste. Trust my taste bud when I said 'It's good', it means REAL good. No joke. As you can see, this is clearly one shop that has the vintage classical look on the outside yet clean and hygienically in my term the ambiance ‘dirt-free’ as one proceeds in.

You might think that for a size of such shop, there must be lots of choices but the twist is that this particular shop only serves toast bread, half boiled egg, and packet nasi lemak/economic bihun/mee. Holiday was good. Tired, sad lonesome as things are getting back to routine as where it once was. Here I stood, feeling like shit but keep thinking that time will pass by in snap of fingers so, I got to be patient and keep my self occupied with all ends. Just like last week I was waiting for Andrew's arrival. He come, saw, conquers left his shit and return back to his island. Anyways, I got lots of chocolates and candies from him.

Thank you so much. And, to make it sound more meaningful and sweeter, all of these, yes you got me right, will end up in my tummy by me. It started the evening yesterday with me leaving the office as early as 7pm. I call that a bonus as this never ever happens. Earlier on, I had a short message service from Reuben/Rueben (either way la) but i think his would be Rueben asking me to join him and Chew Seong over for dinner. It's been quite sometime since i last catch up with this two bunch. Well, basically this two would be my companion in crime during uni-days. The one that would not make me loose my mind is that whenever either one of us are skips class, we would sms each other just to inform and the others would not turn up. It's bad but well, they are just too great close friends that would make you laugh. So, we met up for dinner and had lots of catch up. Updating on each others current life/work/gossips/etc...and we laugh them hell a lot. It's been relaxing for me. I told Seong that we are definitely going over to Tambun for his treat. Yup! He owe us big time. Looking forward, guys! And thanks a lot for tolerating my nonsense tho I can be hard and difficult at times. They call me 'Crucial and Critical'.

Behold, thy perut!

I remembered the first time i had my belly pierce with Wai Ling when we're in KL exactly 2 years back during the Royals Debate in UKM. As usual, trying hard to be naive but the not so naive me took a different turn and we challenge ourselves to do such hunch. Eventually, i didn't had this in mind but Wai Ling shared with me how badly she wanted to get either a tattoo or her belly pierce. Well, she did managed to pulled me in as she said 'Let's do together la...' the so called 'Accompany' her did work out.

It was fun how me when out all the way from Bangi to the other side of Sg. Wang just to check out store which do such piercing services. One things for sure both of us we're determine to get our belly pierce by hook or by crude or at least before we depart back to Penang. And finally we settled for one store name Red Dragon. It sounded like some AhBeng/Ah Lian kind of store. But the so called professional guy was nice and explain very detail to us about the procedure and all. So, finally Wai Ling and I made our definite choice to go for it.

I knew I was coward. Like I have no guts but don't know why I volunteered to be the first victim to be needled by him. I tell you the experience was like adrenal pump out rushing. The guy was adroit. The way and the process was enough to mesmerize me that i have forgotten the pain. Well, it didn't feel hurt at all until, you finally see it with your eyes ball part of my flesh actually when through pricking, piercing the iron rod. Damn. But the moral of the story is that I paid RM 120 for getting this fancy 'In' stuff that the piercing has sealed back. Yes, I let it out during the last few months. Wait, but now having a mastermind to get it back where it once stood!

What would most people be doing at the wee of 2, 3 or 4 in the morning? I bet some of us are half way dreaming while a sleep and some might be having supper or just plain chilling at some night spots having drinks. So here I am waking up 4 in the morning getting all prepared but not so gear up for the most anticipated run of my life time, “The Penang Bridge Marathon” run.

i actually did this? half way .....O_o

I clearly remembered the last run and most breathe taking event I had last year was Spirit of Penang race hosted by STAR newspaper.

That was fun, thrill and exciting. But this time around I had to know about this event through my uni-mate, EK. It was all planned in detail that we will join the marathon in the first place which he suggest just ‘for fun’ then, initially he pulled out due to work commitment and same goes for the other friends so I had a sole choice to be ‘in’ or pull back. Then, I figured that what the heck since I don’t have such opportunity in mere future so I might as well go ahead even I know the fact that I will be running this on my own all alone.

And so, I signed up even though I had the pinch of how it feels like to be alone eventually I will be forlorn and be bored with no companion along the line. I was half awake, half a sleep with my eyes not so wide open and I tried to be nonchalant at best. Literally did I know that I have to be there at freaking 4morning just to register?

The crowd was huge, humongous, gigantic and monstrous because we look like a troop of ants loop. From the starting line we’re let off at 5.30. I ran at a small pace, then I walk and I tailed slowly. From there onwards, I foresee myself stop just yet and I moved on and kept on going. There were many incidents along the way like some participants got carried away in an ambulance probably due to weak metabolism? There were some people who ran until they left their shoes sole on the road and some just ran barefooted!

I couldn’t believe I actually ran this far and this much. Well, one of the reasons is that I had the determination to finish this race and I want to make it something I could achieve. In the midst of the race, I didn’t realised that I have actually cross the bridge and the sign board showed 7km.

Woo..i actually ran this far? Must be kidding but I am glad I have made this far though I tried to be meticulous not to overlap or bang into someone else.

The route back was more interesting because the thought of crossing the finish line was all up in head.

By then, the darkness has turned mild bright and the view can be clearly seen bit by bit. I had swells, and my midriff was pain and I felt a bit cramp. There were veterans and experience people who instantly became nouveau riche from this. Come on, 6k for the first to reach the finish line. Who dare say they don’t want a piece of this? What a big escaped!

And so, the big catch for the day was when I did it! I manage to reach this. My aim? I dare not dream big. All I wanted was just to finish the crossing line and have the satisfaction pinch in me. And I made it! I did it for 10km in an hour and 15mins. I don’t need logic from what has been said here.

The greener side of it is that basically it’s more of a beneficial for the ladies I mean come on shopping and sales makes happy and wonderful women mouth wide open. I am one of the victim well, not exactly victim more like willingly arms wide open falling to this trap. I wish to go there I mean I want to got here again. Just give me one more try. I will make this come true. I will succeed.

Dear Mr./Mrs. Monday! Monday is a horrible day in any other days you have 7 in a row. So many days but die die Monday is the day, you strike hell horribly. I should suggest to my head that they should prepare me a place to sleep in the office to hence, it will be good then. Safe my time, safe money, I don’t need to worry and crack my head. My stress got ease off with ‘char siew pau’ and ‘bak chang’. Getting to eat bak is the best thing has happen in life.

Manhattan Fish Market

Crazy isn’t it. Extremely crazy psycho. I guess the food got me carried away. Manhattan on a Monday is so not good. The food was so fabulous that I forgotten my head ache for once. Seriously the food taste good and for such cuisine, the fish was really fresh and taste succulent with such tasteful bite add with spoonful of slimy cheese.

Not So Bad After All...

Not too bad after all as weekend goes by this time. I guess the matter was I pull myself out from the cocoon. I manage to keep myself out from boredom by moving around the shopping centre and keep myself wander all day long. Actually I realised I prefer to shop alone. Call it lone ranger then. Probably I have more space considering elements fact like time, punctuality, a more relax and ease environment. It’s like you dealt your stuff all by your own. I need not go through fuss like waiting for someone or getting frustrated with third party where if they make hell of noise or grumble continuously. It’s not like I don’t like to hang out with clicks. I do hang with them. But sometimes, I just love to spend time by myself wandering around, and then I start reminiscing all the good times I have.

How I spend the weekend? I manage to catch Fantastic Four on Saturday with my nephew. It wasn’t that great after all, just ‘so-so’ I would say. For me, the best would still be Pirates of Caribbean. Nothing beats that. As usual, I attended mass this morning. Sunday what and yea, it’s Father’s Day but I got no Pa here. So, pass...I think all those people bringing their father out or shower them love with gifts are just hypocrite. If you love your father be obedient and good to him, everyday is also father’s day. No need to wait until the day where these money suckers earn big time. Crap la all these. I when for shopping spree from one center to another lot like hopping grasshopper. Well, not for me, I didn’t get anything for myself though I saw heels, slip on, tees that make me itch but then again if I don’t control there goes my unnecessary spending habits. Good that I conquer the bad habits today.

I didn’t know it was that difficult to get bermudas or pants for my other half. Aawww…have to choose size, and then color, likewise if it fits then prefect but if not then, gone case. Make tired the eyes only. Well, not too bad for the week. Tomorrow suck already. Call it Monday like so mundane routinely sick creep. Looking forward for Sunday’s run. I hope you had a good week too.
